Metaldeck is the system that changed the concept of floor structure construction, consisting of a pre-formed steel sheet (steel deck) and a concrete slab cast over it in a monolithic way forming a composite steel floor deck. Its greatest advantages are:

     
  • Improves work performance
  • Reduces concrete waste and rubbish
  • It is ideal for deck plates because it improves the waterproof conditions of the slab.
  • It adapts to any type of structure, whether it is made of steel or concrete.
  • It has an attractive appearance that can be left uncovered in some types of projects.

Note 3:  For distances over the limit of one span, the superimposed load is calculeted based on the hypothesis of one simple span with support in the center.

 
  

Note 4:  Tolerance for galvanized Metaldeck in 5% (maximum) for zinc coating and 1% (maximum) for base material
